Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available in Denver, CO, providing dedicated support to students with mild to moderate disabilities. This onsite position offers a balanced caseload of 19-21 students, combining both push-in and pull-out instructional models to meet diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with mild/moderate special education needs. Provide both push-in support within general education classrooms and pull-out instruction tailored to individual student goals. Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, therapists, and other support staff to facilitate student progress. Monitor and document student development and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education laws and district policies.
Qualifications:
Valid Colorado Special Education (SPED) License required. Experience working with a caseload of 19-21 students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred. Strong classroom management and differentiation skills to support diverse learning styles. Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families.
