Job Description

Travel Special Education Teacher•Multiple Openings | Denver, CO | 2026/2027 School Year Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher ready to take your skills on the road? Sevn Workforce Solutions is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for full time travel and local contract opportunities in Denver, Colorado for the 2026/2027 school year. The district has multiple openings across elementary, middle, and high school levels, supporting both Mild/Moderate resource settings and Moderate/Severe center-based Inclusive Learning Community (ILC) classrooms, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental Delay disability category classrooms. Position Details:
Location:
Denver, CO Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, school hours based on assigned campus
Contract Duration:
July 29, 2026 through May 28, 2027
Travel Pay Package:
$2,000 to $2,150 per week gross (The estimated take home pay likely to be equivalent to someone salaried at approximately $70 to $75 per hour in Colorado) Must reside 50 miles or more from the district to qualify for
Travel Pay Package Local Pay Package:
$50 to $55 per hour depending on experience (If you reside less than 50 miles from the district)

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specially designed instruction based on individual student needs Manage and maintain IEP compliance for assigned caseload Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with team members and families Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Provide case management and direct instruction across academic and functional life skills Collaborate with staff, related service providers, and families to support student success
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education required Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License required or ability to obtain Experience working with Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe student populations preferred Familiarity with center-based or Inclusive Learning Community (ILC) classrooms a plus for ILC roles Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment If you are ready to take the next step in your career and explore travel Special Education opportunities in Denver, send your resume to kevin@sevnws.com today. #
