POSITION
Special Education Teacher (SSN) District-Wide Support
SALARY RANGE
Salary Range of $47,750 - $103,021. We will give all years, depending on experience and education, with additional opportunities for tuition reimbursement. This position may qualify for up to five additional steps on the certified salary schedule. This will be based on education and experience. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION
Minimum B. A. in Elementary Early Childhood Special Education (Masters preferred) - will consider candidate with B.A. in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Special Education if enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) an MA program leading to Early Childhood Special Education (SPED) licensure (would need to apply for TTE Authorization) Experience in Early Childhood Special Education preferred Bilingual/Bi-literate in Spanish and English preferred but not required Colorado Teachers' Certificate/License from Colorado Department of Education Strong background in early childhood education and the child find process Computer and Technology skills preferred Able to work as a team member Experience working with diverse populations
