Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students with mild to moderate needs in a K-12 school setting. The position is located in Fountain, CO, and spans a contract duration for the current school year, starting ASAP through May 21, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 25 students in grades 9-12. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary. Manage classroom behavior and support social-emotional development.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teacher certification for grades K-12. Experience working with high school students with mild to moderate disabilities. Knowledge of current special education laws, practices, and IEP development. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple student needs effectively and individually.

Fountain, COa supportive community with a commitment to student growth.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. This role provides an excellent chance to make a meaningful impact on students academic and personal development within a structured school environment.
