Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students requiring mild to moderate support, providing both resource and inclusion services within a dedicated school setting. Starting August 12, 2026, your expertise will help drive student success and foster a nurturing educational environment through the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Colorado Special Education License or be eligible for licensure via reciprocity Experience working with elementary-age students is preferred Demonstrated understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Skillful in collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team—educators, families, and service providers Strong organizational capabilities for documentation and progress monitoring
What You'll Do:
Deliver direct special education instruction and academic interventions tailored to student needs Create, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and ensure program compliance Collaborate daily with general education teachers, parents, and related service staff Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Support students' behavioral, academic, and social-emotional growth within resource and/or inclusion settings If you thrive in a collaborative educational environment and are inspired to make a lasting impact on the lives of elementary students, this position offers a unique platform to apply your passion and expertise.
