In this role, you will provide direct support to autistic individuals implementing behavior support plan. We have part-time and full-time positions available.• Pay rate based on relevant experience and highest level of education completed. This position is home-based. Responsibilities As our Autism Support Specialist, you will help autistic children to develop the necessary skills needed to increase independence. Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors. Every day you will provide direct therapy services under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We provide a play-based approach that requires active engagement with the learner and physical movement to create a fun learning environment. Collect data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment plans and facilitate ongoing assessments. This role is performed using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). An evidence-based approach that requires proper protocols to be implemented by creating many learning opportunities and documenting each child's progress and responses. Write session notes and implement treatment plans per protocol. Skills Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or autism spectrum disorder To thrive, you must be reliable, patient, and maintain a positive, self-directed attitude.
