In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and support the academic and social development of your students. Your expertise will help nurture a love for learning while addressing individual needs through tailored instructional strategies. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' lives, in a NAEYC accredited Center Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative learning technology and instructional design principles. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities, autism, ensuring inclusive classroom practices. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavioral management techniques and behavioral therapy strategies to promote a safe and respectful learning environment. Conduct assessments using standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and inform instruction. CT DOTS Qualifications Proven classroom experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or special education environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and child welfare practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and specialists. Experience working with individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder—and implementing IEPs.
Pay:
