Special Education Teacher in Groton, CT

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. School Setting Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with state guidelines. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods to enhance learning outcomes. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and related service providers. Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut Special Education Teaching License appropriate for elementary grades. Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings.
