We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to lead a Social Emotional Behavior (SEB) classroom for students in grades 3-5. This role focuses on supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs while maintaining academic progress in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction in a Social Emotional Behavior classroom Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with IEP goals and grade-level standards Utilize behavior management strategies and interventions to support student success Create a structured, consistent, and positive classroom environment Collaborate with paraprofessionals, counselors, and support staff Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education requirements
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs preferred Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff Flexible, patient, and team-oriented mindset
