Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upper elementary grades (3rd-5th) at a school in Middletown, CT. This onsite role is a contract assignment for the remainder of the 2025/26 school year, with a strong possibility of renewal for the subsequent year. Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students with disabilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages academic and social growth Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success

Qualifications:
