Key Qualifications:
Current certification to teach Special Education in the state of Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with pre-K or early childhood aged students (3-4 years old) preferred Strong understanding of early intervention strategies and IEP development Collaborative and communicative approach to partnering with families and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and support to preschool students with special needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for each student Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and parents Use evidence-based techniques to promote social, emotional, and academic growth
