Travel Special Ed Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) in grades 9-12. Support students with mild to moderate disabilities in both inclusion and resource room environments. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate student success. Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as necessary. Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification in Special Education for grades 9-12. Experience working with mild to moderate special education student populations. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage and organize caseload effectively. Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
