This contract role offers the opportunity to work full-time in a supportive school environment, working consistently at one school throughout the assignment near Windsor, CT. The position covers the dates ASAP through June 13, 2026, with an extension from September 1, 2026, to October 15, 2026. Your expertise as a Special Education Teacher will help build confidence and inspire growth in students who benefit from tailored behavioral and academic interventions.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

Active Connecticut Special Education (SPED) license Previous experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably grades 3-5 Background in managing and implementing instructional strategies for social, emotional, and behavioral support Strong collaboration and communication skills to liaise with colleagues, parents, and support personnel Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
