This role offers an exciting opportunity to positively impact children's lives by providing engaging, safe, and nurturing environments before and after school hours. As a Teacher in this program, you will foster a love of learning, support children's social and emotional development, and ensure a smooth transition between home and school routines. Your energy, creativity, and commitment will help create a welcoming space where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to thrive. Responsibilities Supervise children during morning drop-off and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and creativity Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Coordinate with school staff, parents, and caregivers to communicate children's needs and progress Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment that encourages exploration and learning Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or safety concerns Support children with special education needs or behavioral challenges through tailored approaches and accommodations Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or childcare is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Experience working with children with special needs or behavioral challenges is a plus Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, staff, and children Passion for working with students of all backgrounds in a nurturing, energetic setting Join us in creating an inspiring start to the school year!
