Kindergarten Teacher 26-27 school year

Job Summary:

Campus Community School is a K-8 charter school in Dover, DE. We are seeking a fully certified, dedicated and passionate Kindergarten teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. Your role will involve developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and providing support to ensure academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
• Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage student behavior and maintain discipline in the classroom
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve instructional strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance
• Mentor and guide students in their personal and academic development
• Utilize technology and other resources to enhance learning experiences

Experience:

• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques
• Experience in mentoring or tutoring students
• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
• Understanding of early intervention strategies for academic support
• Knowledge of literacy education principles and techniques
• Familiarity with library services and resources for educational purposes

Requirements:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in Education
• Valid and relevant teaching certification/license
