Special Education Teacher in Wilmington, DE

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. You will oversee a manageable caseload of 23 students, working closely with general education teachers to modify and adapt lessons, implement IEP goals, and ensure all learners reach their full potential. This role will run from August 2026 through June 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

Active Indiana (IN) Special Education Certification is required Previous experience working in a SPED role, ideally with high school students Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Familiarity with push-in models and experience facilitating small group instruction Excellent communication and collaboration skills Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
