PRE-K1 CO-TEACHER DELRAY BEACH CAMPUS

(DBC) Gulf Stream School, Delray Beach Campus, serves 52 children in grades PK1-3 under the supervision and guidance of 10 teachers and two administrators. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team in the 1 year-old classroom starting in August 2026. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and care to children. This position is perfect for individuals who have a strong interest in early childhood education and are eager to contribute to the development of young minds in a nurturing environment. Teachers report directly to the Managing Director and Director of Primary Programs. Teachers are expected to be at school Monday-Friday from 7:30am-3:30pm while school is in session. There are opportunities for additional pay through After School Programs (ASP) and Summer Camp.

Responsibilities:

Show up to work on time every day Help meet every child's needs: emotional, social, physical, and academic Engage children in a fun, interactive, playful environment while supporting their educational, social and emotional growth. Assist in documenting children's learning, growth, and development Help to create and maintain student portfolio that would reflect children's growth, learning and development Monitor children to ensure their safety Interact with children kindly and respectfully Help model how to positively handle frustrations, excitement and other emotions Participate in monthly division meetings, weekly planning, School related events and meetings prior to the School year begins and ends. Maintain a clean and organized learning environment Assist students with changing diapers or potty training and develop self-discipline and a sense of responsibility for all students Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

Degree in childhood education preferred Complete all DCF paperwork and pass DCF and VECHS background check 45 hours of DCF certification classes CPR Certification Ability to commute daily to Delray Beach, FL 33444
