Job Description
Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact in the classroom as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired through a rewarding contract role located in the greater Deltona, FL area. This position offers full-time hours (35 per week) throughout the academic year, and you'll work directly on campus to provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments. The need for these skills is immediate, and interviews are being scheduled for candidates who are passionate about helping students thrive.
Qualifications:
Valid Educator Certification and National Certification required Experience working with visually impaired or blind students preferred Ability to adapt curriculum and classroom materials for diverse visual needs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams Must successfully complete a district background check and timely credentialing Capacity to work on-site and travel between assigned campuses if necessary Flexible and solutions-focused approach within school environmentsResponsibilities:
