-One-Year-Old Classroom Teacher -Full-Time Position At New Horizon Youth Academy, we believe in building bright tomorrows, one child at a time. Our classrooms are filled with creativity, exploration, laughter, and opportunities to make a lasting impact every day. As a teacher, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can explore, grow, and develop essential skills through play, hands-on learning, music, movement, and personalized attention. ✅
Qualifications:
CDA Certification 45 Hours DCF Training Certification CPR Certification Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children preferred Passion for working with children Positive attitude and team-oriented spirit Ability to create a fun, safe, and nurturing learning environment Strong communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
Implement age-appropriate learning activities and curriculum Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skill development Monitor and document children's progress and milestones Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's development Collaborate with coworkers to create positive learning experiences
