Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead School Age Teacher to inspire and nurture children during their formative years. In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging activities, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and support the holistic development of school-aged children. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help create a positive, enriching atmosphere where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development, creativity, and social skills. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, ensuring a respectful and safe environment for all children. Supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, rest periods, and special events such as camp or theater performances. Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized learning plans for children with special education needs or behavioral challenges. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise. Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and health regulations. Requirements Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or babysitting. Strong classroom management skills combined with knowledge of childhood development principles. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and support their individual needs through tailored activities. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally and positively. Background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; experience in sports coaching or theater is advantageous for creating engaging activities. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth through childcare, teaching, or working with students in various settings.
