Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering developmental growth, creating engaging lesson plans, and ensuring a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and confidence. Your expertise will help shape the educational journey of children, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example and make a meaningful impact on students' lives. Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards and individual student needs Lead classroom activities that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional learning, and behavioral management Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment through behavioral therapy techniques and classroom management strategies Mentor and supervise assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on lesson planning and classroom routines Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance records, and communication logs with parents or guardians Requirements Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or special education settings Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans across literacy education, math, library services, and other core subjects Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, families, colleagues, and external specialists Certification or training in behavioral therapy or speech therapy is preferred but not mandatory Ability to manage classroom behavior proactively while fostering an inclusive environment for all learners We are dedicated to empowering educators who are enthusiastic about nurturing young minds.
