Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available in Fort Myers, FL for an experienced educational professional skilled in working with students from 1st through 9th grades. The role focuses on providing educational diagnostic services to support student learning and development within a school environment.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive educational evaluations to identify student strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) Monitoring student progress and adjusting recommendations accordingly Providing consultation and guidance to school staff on instructional strategies and accommodations Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations Desired qualifications: Demonstrated experience as an Educational Diagnostician with proficiency evaluating students across elementary and middle school grades (1st-9th) Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education laws, and instructional methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse school community Ability to work independently and manage multiple evaluations within the scope of a contract This position provides a valuable opportunity to apply diagnostic expertise in a school setting, helping to shape individualized supports that enhance student outcomes.
