Position Summary Guidestone Academy is seeking qualified K-8 teachers who demonstrate professional excellence and a sincere commitment to Christian education. Teachers are expected to integrate faith and learning, maintain high academic standards, and collaborate closely with families and colleagues to support student growth. Consistent with the school's religious mission, teachers are expected to support and model Christian beliefs and conduct in both professional responsibilities and school life. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction Integrate biblical principles and a Christian worldview throughout the curriculum Create a structured, disciplined, and supportive classroom environment Assess student learning and maintain accurate academic records Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership Participate in staff meetings, professional development, devotions, and school events Supervise students in classrooms and other school settings Represent the school professionally within the community Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Completion of student teaching or relevant educational field experience Ability to teach core elementary subjects; electives as assigned Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of classroom teaching experience Valid state teaching license and/or certification from a Christian school association Faith & Professional Expectations In alignment with the school's religious purpose, candidates must: Affirm and support the school's Statement of Faith Model Christian character, integrity, and professionalism Participate in spiritual practices that support the Christian educational environment Support the school's mission and policies while working respectfully with students, families, and staff Schedule & Supervision This teaching position is for FIVE days per week
