Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Saturday Teacher to join our team from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. This role is perfect for someone passionate about early childhood education, childcare, and working with children with diverse needs. You will be responsible for creating a positive classroom atmosphere, supporting children's development, and ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Duties Lead engaging activities that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care routines Manage classroom behavior with effective behavior management strategies to foster a respectful and safe environment Provide attentive childcare, ensuring each child's individual needs are met through personalized care and attention Implement classroom management techniques to maintain an organized and productive learning space Support children with special education needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing appropriate care Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols diligently Qualifications Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant, toddler, and preschool care Prior classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management skills Certification or training in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Passion for caregiving, teaching, and nurturing young children Join us at Kids By The Hour to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while building your career in early childhood education!
