Service areas needed:
Lakeland, Plant City Therapists will provide developmentally appropriate services to children from birth to age 3 and their families in the child's natural environment through the Early Steps Program. In order to meet the goals identified in the family's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP.) Build your own part-time/full-time caseload Flexible schedule Hourly rate based on a billable hour Flat-rate travel reimbursement (English/Spanish) a plus Monthly Bonus
REQUIREMENTS
MUST have Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in early childhood education or early childhood/special education, child and family development, family life specialist, communication sciences, psychology, or social work. MUST have documentation of at least one year of post-degree professional hands-on experience with children from birth to three years of age. This position requires local travel to provide services to children and families in their natural environment (ie: home, daycare.) Applicants must have a valid Florida Driver's License, reliable transportation and auto insurance coverage. Background screening will be required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide Early Intervention services to children and their families in the natural environment ensuring compliance with Part C, State and Medicaid regulations and timelines in all aspect of services including, but not limited to the following: Provide direct activities with the child while coaching parents/caregivers designed to enhance the child's development in one or more domains, including: cognition, adaptive functions, social/emotional skills, motor development and communication. Provide families with information, skills and support related to enhancing their child's development. Complete necessary assessments and required documentation. Orientation and training modules are required and provided prior to ITDS certification.
