Job Description

Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers (K-6) to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year . In this rewarding role, you will support the academic, social, and emotional growth of elementary-aged students while fostering a love for learning in a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. As an inclusive school , our teachers work with students of all abilities, including children on the autism spectrum and those with diverse learning needs. Teachers may serve in either a classroom leadership or support role, working collaboratively with school staff to deliver high-quality instruction and individualized support to help every student succeed. The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, flexible, and committed to creating an inclusive environment where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to learn. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a collaborative and supportive educational community. Responsibilities Support the academic, social, and emotional development of K-6 students Create and maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards (as applicable to role) Assist with instruction in core subject areas, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities Support students on the spectrum and those with diverse learning needs through accommodations, modifications, and individualized support Implement positive behavior management strategies and social-emotional learning practices Collaborate with teachers, assistant teachers, and school leadership to support student success Communicate professionally with families, colleagues, and administration Monitor student progress and assist with documentation as needed Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment for all learners Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and state or licensing requirements Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as needed Qualifications & Skills Child Development Associate (CDA) or higher Experience working in an elementary (K-6) classroom preferred Experience working with students on the autism spectrum, disabilities, or diverse learning needs strongly preferred Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and classroom management Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a classroom and school team Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations Flexibility and ability to adapt to various classroom roles and student needs Passion for student growth, inclusion, and individualized learning Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a background check through the
