Special Education Teacher - Varying Exceptionalities

MILA Elementary School is seeking an experienced Varying Exceptionalities Teacher in an ESE Resource VE Position to teach their exceptional education students in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year beginning August 3rd.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university FLDOE Certification in ESE K-12 or Specific Learning Disabilities

AND FLDOE

Please note salary is based on verifiable years of experience as per District guidelines. Our voters passed a millage in 2022 and all instructional staff, from zero to 19+ years of experience, will receive a supplement . The pay ranges based on years of experience, but for a teacherwith 19+ years experience, that's approximately an additional $8,110 (pay and supplement are prorated based on start date) in your pocket! This raises the overall compensation higher than our neighboring school districts.
