The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, focusing on their individual growth and development. As a Lead Teacher, you will implement engaging lesson plans, support early childhood development, and ensure that each child's unique needs are met through tailored educational experiences. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote childhood development. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess student progress through standardized testing and individualized evaluations. Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers, fostering a collaborative teaching environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns. Incorporate Montessori principles into daily activities to enhance children's learning experiences. Address the needs of children requiring early intervention or special education services, ensuring all students receive appropriate support. Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior to inform instructional practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in childcare or teaching, particularly in toddler care or early childhood settings. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in education. Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff. Ability to create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
