We are looking for a motivated clinician who is passionate about wound healing, patient care, and working in a fast-paced surgical and outpatient environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert wound management and advanced wound care treatments to diverse patient populations, including those in acute care, outpatient clinics, nursing homes and home care settings. Your expertise will help improve healing outcomes, reduce infection risks, and enhance patient quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive wound assessments, including evaluating wound size, depth, exudate, and signs of infection Develop personalized wound care plans based on evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines Apply MIST therapy on patients. Administer advanced treatments such as debridement, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser therapy when applicable Perform specialized procedures including suturing, catheterization, and sterile dressing changes with precision and aseptic technique Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and follow-up management Educate patients and their families on wound care protocols, infection prevention, and lifestyle modifications for optimal healing Maintain detailed medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Cerner while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Skills Proven experience in wound management within hospital medicine or outpatient settings Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation related to wound healing processes Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation Skilled in performing procedures like IV infusion, phlebotomy, sterile processing, and suturing techniques.
