Job Description

Help students thrive through connection, creativity, and individualized learning. We are seeking compassionate, adaptable, and highly engaging educators who know how to foster a lifelong love of learning. This role is ideal for teachers who excel at connecting with students of diverse learning styles and abilities, particularly those with exceptionalities (ESE), learning differences, or unique educational needs. Our ideal candidate sees education as more than delivering content. They inspire curiosity, foster confidence, and help students develop a genuine love for learning. This is a flexible, part time position with potential for full time serving homeschool and public-school students through personalized instruction in students' homes, local libraries, and virtual settings. What You'll Do Build strong, supportive relationships with students and families Develop personalized curriculum and learning plans based on each student's strengths, challenges, goals, and interests Create engaging, creative lessons that make learning meaningful and accessible Adapt instruction for students with diverse learning profiles, including ESE and neurodivergent learners Support academic growth in literacy, math, executive functioning, study skills, or other core subject areas Prepare students for academic benchmarks, testing, and individualized educational goals Track progress and maintain clear communication with families using tools such as Class Dojo and TutorBird Adjust teaching strategies based on ongoing observation, student responsiveness, and progress Our Ideal Candidate IS An educator who: Naturally connects with students and builds rapport quickly Understands that every child learns differently Brings patience, flexibility, and creativity to your teaching Values personalized education over one-size-fits-all instruction Can balance autonomy and flexibility with professionalism and reliability
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree Teaching certification Availability to work on a consistent weekly schedule Confidence with curriculum development and individualized lesson planning Strong communication skills with both students and families
Strongly Preferred:
Experience working with students with ESE, ADHD, autism spectrum, dyslexia, or other exceptional learning needs Experience with executive functioning support and differentiated instruction
