Do you have a natural ability to make others feel welcomed and cared for? OnPoint Veterinary Urgent Care is looking for a compassionate, friendly, and detail-oriented Veterinary Client Care Specialist to join our team and help us deliver exceptional client service while ensuring a seamless experience for both pets and their owners.
Duties Client Interaction:
Be the first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone. Create a warm and welcoming environment by greeting clients with a friendly attitude and attentive demeanor.
Client Education:
Provide clients with detailed information about our services, pricing, and procedures. Help clients make informed decisions about their pet's care by offering guidance and answering questions with empathy and professionalism.
Patient Care Coordination:
Assist with patient check-ins and triage. Processing medical records, and ensuring the smooth flow of information between clients, veterinarians, and medical staff.
Administrative Support:
Handle general office tasks including answering calls, managing emails, processing payments, and maintaining client and pet records.

Excellent Communication Skills:
You can express yourself clearly, both verbally and in writing, and have a knack for putting people at ease in challenging or emotional situations.
Empathy and Compassion:
You genuinely care about the well-being of animals and the comfort of their owners.
Strong Organizational Skills:
You're able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, stay organized, and keep the office running smoothly.
Prior Experience:
Experience in customer service or a veterinary/animal care environment is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right person. Proficiency in
Technology:
Comfort with office software and scheduling systems. Familiarity with veterinary-specific software is a bonus!
Qualifications Veterinary Experience Preferred:
While not required, previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with common veterinary procedures and terminology will be a plus!
Basic Math Skills:
Must be able to perform basic math functions, including handling payments, processing invoices, and calculating simple charges for services and products.
Strong Writing Skills:
Ability to accurately document and maintain client and patient records, write clear and concise messages, and correspond with clients in a professional manner.
Adaptability:
Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, while maintaining excellent service and clear communication.
