Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Lead Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will ignite a love for learning in preschool-aged children. In this role, you will create a dynamic, engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and early childhood education will inspire children to explore, discover, and grow. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with preschool standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective/positive reinforcement behavior management and child welfare practices Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, early intervention skills, and social-emotional growth Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain an organized, safe, and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with families to support individual learning needs, including special education and toddler care considerations Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly Incorporate early childhood education best practices such as curriculum development, tutoring, and preschool experience to enhance learning outcomes Qualifications Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Experience with curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention techniques is preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that support diverse learners' growth and development Certification or credential in early childhood education or related field is highly desirable Passion for working with young children and dedication to fostering a nurturing learning environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your expertise helps shape the future of young learners!
