Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Middle School English Teacher to inspire and guide students through their literacy journey. In this role, you will develop engaging curricula, foster a love for reading and writing, and create a positive classroom environment that encourages growth and curiosity. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including students with disabilities or special education requirements. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques and conflict resolution skills. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide initiatives. Provide academic advising and personalized support to help students achieve their individual learning goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; advanced certifications or specialized training in literacy education or special education are preferred. Proven classroom experience working with middle school students in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management best practices. Familiarity with learning technology tools such as LMS platforms and digital instructional resources. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or early childhood education techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups, including early childhood or preschool settings if needed. Demonstrated skills in tutoring, behavior management, conflict resolution, and instructional design to foster a supportive learning environment. Pay:
$54,744.07 - $65,928.34 per year
