Duties Design and deliver dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across multiple subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and social studies. Develop and utilize engaging learning materials using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to enhance student understanding. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and comprehensive behavior management strategies to create a safe and productive learning environment. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and individualized academic advising. Incorporate inclusive teaching practices tailored to students with diverse needs, including those with autism or in special education programs. Provide tutoring sessions and additional support for students requiring extra help in literacy education, math, or other core subjects. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents while ensuring compliance with educational policies. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to develop personalized learning plans that support childhood development and early childhood education principles. Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, classroom management techniques, Montessori methods, or other relevant educational approaches. Skills Proven experience in classroom management with the ability to foster a positive learning environment for children of various ages. Discipleship‑minded, with a passion for partnering with parents in the training and equipping of children to become transformational leaders. Strong curriculum development skills across multiple grade levels with familiarity in lesson planning that integrates creative writing, literacy education, and math instruction. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology platforms to facilitate interactive lessons and track student progress. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and strategies for preparing students for assessments. Experience working with children of different developmental stages including preschool experience or early childhood education background preferred. Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or those requiring behavior management support. Familiarity with private school environments or Montessori educational philosophies is advantageous. Skills in proofreading educational materials and developing creative writing exercises that inspire student engagement. Commitment to ongoing professional growth in areas such as childhood development, education administration, or specialized instructional techniques.
