Located in Atlanta, GA, we serve children from six weeks old through school age, offering comprehensive programs from Infant Care to Kindergarten. Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Classroom Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing educational environment. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and support the developmental growth of children across various age groups. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a vibrant learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to different age groups, including early childhood and preschool levels Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for all students Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and incorporate innovative learning technology to enhance educational experiences Assess student progress through standardized testing, informal evaluations, and ongoing observations Provide individualized support and tutoring for students needing additional assistance in literacy, math, or behavioral management Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum development, and educational strategies aligned with childhood development standards Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Skills Expertise in curriculum development across early childhood education disciplines such as literacy education, math, science, and Proficiency with LMS platforms and integrating learning technology into classroom instruction Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and engagement among students Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and administrators Knowledge of assessing young children and academic techniques to use with children Background in preschool experience is a plus; familiarity with childhood development principles is essential Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional growth alongside academic achievement Join us at Angels Academy of Atlanta where your passion for teaching can truly make a difference!
