Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Blazer Jobs is seeking dedicated and compassionate Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Teachers to support students with diverse learning needs. ESE Teachers provide individualized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with families, educators, and support staff to ensure every student reaches their full potential. Key Responsibilities Deliver specialized instruction aligned with Georgia Standards of Excellence Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, therapists, and parents Maintain compliance with IDEA, state, and district regulations Document student performance and maintain accurate records Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured learning environment Qualifications & Requirements (Georgia) To be eligible to work as an ESE Teacher in the state of Georgia, candidates must meet the following: Education & Certification Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field Valid or eligible Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) teaching certification in Special Education (P-12) Out‑of‑state candidates must be eligible for GaPSC certification through reciprocity Compliance Requirements Completed Georgia criminal background check / fingerprinting Ability to pass district and state employment screening requirements Current TB screening (or willingness to obtain) Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices Experience developing and implementing IEPs Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Commitment to student advocacy and inclusive education What We Offer Competitive weekly pay Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement options) Supportive district environment and professional resources Opportunity to work in diverse school settings across Fulton County Apply Today Join a team that is passionate about equity, inclusion, and student success. to begin your rewarding career as an Exceptional Student Education Teacher in Fulton County, Georgia. #p34
