DESCRIPTION
Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students in the classroom. Plan and implement effective lessons, using time, materials and resources effectively. Display a thorough knowledge of special education curriculum. Demonstrate awareness of the needs of students and provide for individual differences. Support the philosophy and mission of the Bartow County School System. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING
Must have 2 verifiable years of industry experience. Must hold an Associate's degree or higher from a GA PSC accepted institution in related field. Must hold or be able to obtain a valid clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate in Audio/Visual Technology & Film. OR Must hold or be able to obtain a valid clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate in Engineering & Technology.
SKILLS:
Ability and knowledge to effectively teach at the high school level.
EXPERIENCE
Previous teaching experience preferred, not required. The Bartow County Board of Education reserves the right to accept equivalent qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and acceptable.
