Job Description

Category Schools - Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing Job Type Contract Make a real impact by supporting students as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) on a flexible contract basis. In this rewarding position, you'll work directly with five students across K-12 who require your expertise, traveling between convenient sites in close proximity. This opportunity is ideal for professionals excited to collaborate with school teams and create accessible, engaging learning environments for students with hearing differences.
What You'll Bring:
Current certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (open to out-of-state licenses) Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting Ability to tailor instructional and communication strategies to individual needs Strong organizational skills to comfortably manage a caseload across multiple locations Dedication to fostering inclusion and advocacy for students with hearing challenges
Role Duties:
Provide direct and consultative services for approximately 8-10 hours per week Collaborate with educational staff to design and implement effective IEPs Facilitate age-appropriate instructional support and accommodations for students Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and communicate findings with stakeholders Adapt to a dynamic schedule visiting multiple district sites within a short driving distance Enjoy the
