In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and tailor instructional strategies to meet individual student needs. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating instructional design principles and learning technology tools. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with disabilities, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, visual impairments, or hearing impairments, ensuring inclusive education. Manage classroom behavior effectively through classroom management techniques and behavioral health strategies to create a safe and productive learning environment. Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing, formative assessments, and IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, or behavioral therapists to coordinate interventions like applied behavior analysis or music therapy when appropriate. Design individualized lesson plans for students requiring specialized instruction in literacy education, math, early childhood education, or preschool settings. Support early intervention initiatives and provide childcare or toddler care as needed to promote childhood development in various educational contexts. Experience Prior classroom experience in educational settings such as private schools, preschools, or early childhood programs is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in special education practices, including working with students with disabilities and developing IEPs. Experience utilizing learning technology platforms for instruction, assessment, and communication purposes. Knowledge of behavioral management techniques and behavioral health strategies to support positive student behavior. Background in curriculum development across multiple subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, recreational therapy, or library services is advantageous. Proven ability to mentor students and collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and specialists to promote holistic child welfare and academic success.
