Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Dedicated individuals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs are encouraged to apply for this school-based special education teaching opportunity for the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract, on-site position requires full-time availability (Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours weekly) and offers the chance to provide essential support for students' educational growth. Candidates will use their expertise to deliver differentiated instruction, work collaboratively within school teams, implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and contribute to a structured, supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
Current and active Georgia Special Education teaching license or certification Previous experience in school-based special education roles is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively and work cooperatively with colleagues Commitment to full-time, on-site responsibilities throughout the school year Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilitiesResponsibilities:
Provide individualized and small-group instruction as specified in students' IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Develop and maintain accurate records related to student progress, attendance, and IEP documentation Foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages learning and growth Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with the school team If you are eager to support student achievement and build relationships as part of a dedicated school community, we want to connect with you.
