Job Description

Category Schools - Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing Job Type Contract A full-time Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing is sought for the upcoming school year (August 3, 2026 - May 21, 2027) in Fort Benning, GA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic school setting, supporting students with hearing impairments across multiple educational buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state standards Maintain daily logs documenting services and student progress, ensuring accurate and timely records Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to support student success Manage caseload effectively across various school locations within the district
Qualifications:
Valid Georgia Educator Certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing teaching Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school environment Strong organizational skills to manage multiple school assignments and detailed daily documentation Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and educational staff

Georgia Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
