As a Lead Teacher specializing in preschool education, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for young learners. Your passion for early childhood development and expertise in curriculum development will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead classroom activities, collaborate with colleagues, and support the holistic development of preschoolers in a dynamic educational setting. Responsibilities Design and implement innovative, age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills aligned with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage curiosity and respect among children Support children's social and emotional well-being by implementing early intervention techniques and child welfare practices. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and promote active engagement in their child's learning journey. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's development, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to childcare regulations and best practices in toddler care and preschool experience. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of special education strategies, behavior management, and early intervention methods. Familiarity with Montessori principles, literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and childhood development theories. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Demonstrated ability to create inclusive learning environments that support diverse learners' needs. Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred; Montessori certification is a plus.
