RHMS TEACHER - SPECIAL EDUCATION - 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR

The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for a S pecial Education teacher at Richmond Hill Middle School for the 2026-27 school year . The successful candidate must meet certification requirements in the appropriate field(s) of education, as follows: Special Education

• Self-Contained classrooms
• must hold certification in Adapted Curriculum Special Education , plus Special Education content concentrations in all 5 content areas. Special Education
• Co-taught classrooms
• must hold certification in General Curriculum Special Education , plus Special Education content concentrations in the areas of Reading/ELA and/or Math.

In addition to certification and professionally qualified status, Bryan County is interested in teachers who possess a strong knowledge of research-based and data-driven instructional practices designed to ensure students with disabilities the opportunity to be successful in their educational environment, as well as embracing a philosophy of providing individual interventions in a manner that positively affects individual student growth.
