Job Description

Category Schools - Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing Job Type Contract Make a significant impact supporting students as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This contract opportunity focuses on providing expert instruction and advocacy for students across five different sites—all conveniently located within close proximity. Enjoy a flexible schedule working approximately 8-10 hours each week, consulting with both students and staff to enrich learning and communication strategies. Your expertise will be valued as you help shape inclusive, accessible education for young learners with diverse needs.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH); out-of-state licenses are welcomed Experience or training working with students from kindergarten through high school Strong knowledge of current best practices for instructing deaf and hard of hearing learners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to travel between sites within the district (all locations are just minutes apart) Proficient with technology and adaptable to various instructional settings
Role Responsibilities:
