Job Description
Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a tangible impact in the lives of students as a per diem school-based paraprofessional. Responsibilities include:
Delivering 1:1 or small group support in academic, behavioral, and social areas under teacher direction Assisting students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation Following behavior intervention strategies and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Providing support for supervision, mobility, and, when needed, personal care Helping maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to learning Key qualifications: High school diploma or GED Minimum age of 18 Ability to comply with TB screening requirements Physical capacity for standing, walking, and occasional lifting or physical assistance Current background clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to employment Preferred background and experiences: Experience in schools, behavioral health, special education, or child care Skilled in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges Certification or background as an RBT, or training in behavioral intervention (CPI, PMT) beneficial Collaborative, patient, and dependable attitude What you'll enjoy: Convenient weekly pay Flexible scheduling tailored to your availability App-based communication for swift support and resources Opportunities to advance your skills and grow professionally in school settings The fulfillment of making a positive, daily impact on students' academic and social journeys If you're ready to bring compassionate, skilled assistance to students and help create an encouraging classroom atmosphere, your expertise is needed.
