Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will support students with diverse learning needs by developing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering targeted instruction, and fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment. The ideal candidate is committed to student growth, effective collaboration, and creating meaningful learning experiences that empower every student to succeed.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique learning needs and goals. Deliver differentiated instruction to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure success. Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Experience:
Previous experience in schools preferred.
