Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher to inspire young minds and foster a love for learning in early childhood faith based education settings. This dynamic role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting the developmental needs of children from toddler through preschool age. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a strong understanding of childhood development principles to cultivate a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and independence. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and age-appropriate instructional strategies. Support children's emotional well-being and social development through positive reinforcement and effective communication skills. Conduct assessments to monitor individual progress and prepare students for standardized testing or evaluations as needed. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs to support each child's unique needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and instructional activities in compliance with childcare regulations. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to early intervention and special education. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques such as behavior management strategies. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other alternative educational approaches is preferred. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and communicate clearly with parents and team members. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education is advantageous. Previous experience in private schools or daycare centers that emphasize literacy education, physical education, or Toddler care will be highly valued.
