Middle School Math Teacher (Illinois Professional Educator License/PEL Required)

We are seeking dedicated and dynamic Middle School Math Teachers to join our team in Berkeley and Northlake, IL . In this role, you will play a critical part in creating a supportive, structured, and inspiring learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally. Position Overview The School Teacher is responsible for implementing daily instructional plans in alignment with curriculum standards, fostering a classroom environment conducive to learning, and building strong relationships with students, staff, and families. The ideal candidate brings strong classroom management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to student success. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective math instruction aligned with established lesson plans Maintain a positive classroom environment that supports learning and personal growth Establish rapport with students while maintaining clear behavior expectations and classroom management Collaborate with building administrators, general education teachers, and support staff Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school personnel Monitor student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs Uphold professional standards and comply with all district and state requirements Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree or higher required Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with middle and high school math endorsements required Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience preferred Ability and willingness to take responsibility for student safety, wellbeing, and academic outcomes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interpret instructional plans and effectively present information Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts Commitment to professional standards of practice Additional Requirements Current CPR certification (if applicable) TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable) Current health certificate per state or contract requirements Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Why Join Us?
