Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong understanding of a variety of disabilities and learning challenges Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet unique student needs Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
Develop, review, and update IEPs tailored to student strengths and needs Design and deliver specialized instruction to students with identified disabilities Assess student performance, track progress, and adjust strategies as necessary Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each learner Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
