Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful summer opportunity shaping students' lives as a Special Education Teacher for a vibrant school community near Elgin, IL. This contract position runs from June 1st through June 25th, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday. Support students from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, while staff hours are 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, offering a balanced summer workday and valuable professional experience.
Key Qualifications:
Valid state certification or license in Special Education Experience working with students with disabilities, IEPs, and differentiated instruction Solid understanding of evidence-based teaching strategies Superior communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment Recent classroom or student teaching experience in special education strongly preferred
Role Responsibilities:
